As mentioned, the syllabus has an error.  It has you jigsawing the videos of Sarah Capitelli. Obviously that is not going to work.

Here is the plan:

Gibbons chpt 6- everyone read

Capitelli videos #1 and 2- everyone watch

Diaz-Rico, Kagan and Calderon articles- Jigsaw.

In a perfect world, you would all have time to read all three of the articles  Diaz-Rico, Kagan and Calderon.  However, due to the fact that you have LOTS of work to do, I am suggesting that you jigsaw the readings with others. I would suggest splitting the 1st article (Diaz-Rico) into 3 parts: Intro/Listening, Reading and Writing, as well as the 2 other articles

I am going to leave it to you and your groups to determine how to split etc, with the understanding that you will be able to share notes (orally) and information with your group.

I hope that helps everyone!

Great job on presentations today!

This is a NON-example. In other words, DO NOT DO IT THIS WAY!  Combine the narrative and the lesson plan into one flowing document that provides lesson information, followed by narrative, research, etc to justify your choices!
